Yes, You can use your own personal reoutr. Plug in the Ethernet cord (Looks like a big rubber phone cord) into one of the open yellow-outlined ports in the back of your ATT Router( NOT THE BROADBAND PORT). Plug the other side into the back of your new reoutr. plug in your new reoutr to the electricity, and setup the new reoutr using the CD that came with the reoutr (ON YOUR COMPUTER). otherwise, you can look at the wireless networks on your computer. BE SURE TO GET A MATCHING FREQUENCY ROUTER AND ADAPTER. (ex. Wireless N is not compatiple with Wireless G). ATT should not care that you're using your own equiptment. . . notes:.
